Blackboard Learn houses the online courses for AUM. Some of the Blackboard elements you will encounter are listed in the following table. Blackboard Learn is accessed through the My AUM portal and accessed directly at 

Blackboard products are designed and developed in accordance with the internationally recognized Web Content Accessibility (WCAG) Guidelines 2.0 Level AA as well as the Section 508 standards in the United States. A third party conducts regular audits of the software to ensure quality expectations are met and maintained.


The Turnitin assignment tool is part of Blackboard. You may be asked to submit an assignment using Turnitin.
 Lockdown Browser Instructors may set up tests and exams using Respondus Lockdown Browser. If you have an exam that requires Respondus LockDown Browser, you need to download the browser to your desktop before you access the test.

 Adobe  Download Guidelines for Proctored Exams  Some online courses require students to take an exam that is monitored by a proctor. Your professor will let you know if you will have proctored exams and you are responsible for finding an approved proctor.

ProctorU ProctorU is a live, fee-based online proctoring service that allows exam takers to complete their assessment at home while still ensuring the integrity of the exam for the institution. Using almost any webcam and computer, you can take exams at home or anywhere you have Internet access.

 Bb Collaborate Collaborate is a Blackboard webinar tool where you can meet with your professor and classmates in a real-time online meeting. This tool is used for office hours, virtual presentations, and online tutoring.
McGraw-Hill Connect Pearson My Lab You may be required to purchase supplemental publisher materials such as Pearson MyLab or McGraw-Hill Connect.
NBC Learn Films On Demand Students and faculty have access to extensive video archives resources.
